Tour Itinerary

Day 1 - Stonehenge, Windsor Castle & Bath

Morning – Departure from London & Journey to Windsor
Your adventure begins early in London, where you’ll board the mini-coach and head west toward the historic town of Windsor. As the city’s skyline fades behind you, the scenery transforms into rolling green countryside dotted with charming villages. Along the way, enjoy the sense of anticipation building for the two days ahead.

Mid-Morning – Exploring Windsor
Arrive in Windsor, a town where history and royalty intertwine. The centerpiece is Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world. You can explore the grand State Apartments, admire royal artwork, and step into centuries of history. Alternatively, wander the streets of Windsor itself—cobbled lanes, traditional shops, and inviting cafés make it a delightful place to stretch your legs. The choice is yours: castle grandeur or village charm.

Afternoon – Stonehenge & Lunch
Next, journey to the enigmatic Stonehenge, one of the world’s most famous prehistoric monuments. Standing before the towering stones, you’ll feel the awe and mystery that has inspired myths, folklore, and speculation for thousands of years. Was it an ancient temple, a celestial calendar, or the work of Merlin? After exploring, enjoy a relaxing lunch at a nearby café, sampling local pastries or fresh seasonal fare.

Late Afternoon – Arrival in Bath
In the late afternoon, arrive in Bath, a UNESCO World Heritage city famous for its Roman Baths and stunning Georgian architecture. Check into your accommodation and take a moment to soak in the city’s timeless atmosphere.

Evening – Free Time in Bath
Bath comes alive in the evening. Stroll across Pulteney Bridge, admire the river views, or relax in one of the many traditional pubs. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, and take in the softly lit streets, where history feels almost tangible.

Day 2 - The Cotswolds & Oxford

Morning – Exploring Bath
Wake up to a morning in Bath, with time to explore the city’s elegant Georgian streets. Wander past the Royal Crescent, a sweeping crescent of terraced houses, or visit the Roman Baths, where history echoes through the hot spring waters. The city’s architecture is cinematic, often featured in period dramas and films, offering a glimpse into England’s refined past.

Mid-Morning – Castle Combe, Cotswolds
From Bath, travel through the rolling countryside to the Cotswolds, a region famed for charming villages, thatched-roof cottages, and idyllic landscapes. Your first stop is Castle Combe, widely regarded as one of England’s prettiest villages. Here, take photos, wander the narrow streets, and soak in the peaceful rural atmosphere. The Cotswolds are a perfect contrast to the grandeur of Bath and Oxford, offering a taste of traditional English village life.

Afternoon – Oxford
Continue to Oxford, the city of dreaming spires. Renowned for its historic university, Gothic quadrangles, cobbled lanes, and lush gardens, Oxford invites exploration. Walk through the university precincts, climb vantage points for panoramic views, or visit the Ashmolean Museum to see priceless art and antiquities. The city has inspired writers, thinkers, and filmmakers alike—wander the streets, and you’ll see why.

Early Evening – Return to London
After two full days exploring England’s most iconic destinations, return to London with memories of ancient stones, royal castles, Georgian elegance, and academic grandeur. Arrive at approximately 7pm, ready to continue your journey or share your adventures with friends.

You’ll spend one night in the historic city of Bath.

How can I book accommodation?
Accommodation is booked as part of the tour package. You can choose between a cosy bed & breakfast (B&B) or a hotel. Once you pick, we’ll book it as part of your tour package, so everything is sorted for you. Price online for B&B accommodation. Hotels available at a supplement.

Tour Attractions
Stonehenge tickets are included if you book accommodation with us. Other attractions can be paid for as you go, giving you flexibility to explore your way.

Children
We don’t carry children under 5 years old on scheduled tours.
If your child is under 1.35m tall, let us know—we’ll provide a suitable booster seat.

Luggage
You’re allowed one main bag (approx. 14kg / 31lbs, similar to an airline carry-on) plus one small personal bag for the mini-coach.

Do you offer hotel pickups?
No. UK and Ireland city centres have narrow, winding streets. We use central meeting points to make departures faster and greener.

Is there parking near the departure point?
We recommend using public transport. Parking in city centres can be difficult, and public transport is usually easier and cheaper.

When should I arrive at the departure point?
Plan to arrive 15 minutes before your departure. Unfortunately, we cannot wait if you’re late.

What if I’m late or miss the tour?
If you miss your tour, cancellation policies apply. Full charges will apply, and no refund or alternative can be offered.

What are your cancellation policies?
For tours 2–9 days long: cancel at least 15 days before departure and receive a 90% refund. Terms vary by tour, so check your booking details.

Are there toilets on the bus?
No, there are no on-board toilets. But we make regular stops so you can stretch your legs and use facilities.

Do you cater for accessibility needs?
Yes, we aim to accommodate everyone. Check our accessibility guide for more details.

How much time do I get off the bus?
We give plenty of time at each stop to explore, take photos, and enjoy the sights on foot.

Why are visitor attractions excluded from the tour price?
This gives you freedom to travel your way. You can skip attractions, choose a luxury lunch, or spend time however you like.

Do we need to bring our own lunch?
Nope! We stop in towns, villages, and rural cafés where you can pick meals to suit your taste and budget.

Should I tip the driver-guide?
Tips are optional. If you enjoyed the tour, your guide will appreciate a small gesture—but it’s completely up to you.

What about travel insurance?
We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance for your trip.
