Explore Stonehenge

First, we visit Stonehenge, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you’ll walk among the towering, mysterious stone circle. This incredible landmark dates back nearly 5,000 years.

As you explore, marvel at this amazing ancient construction. What was its true purpose? Many theories exist. For instance, some believe it was a celestial observatory. These stones may have aligned with astronomical events, like solstices. Perhaps it was a temple for the sun. Its alignment definitely suggests a connection to sun worship rituals. Furthermore, archaeological finds indicate its use as a sacred burial ground over many centuries. Come and uncover the fascinating theories and secrets behind this world-famous prehistoric monument.

Discover Bath

Next, we head to the beautiful Georgian city of Bath. You’ll arrive just in time for lunch. Bath has many great places to eat. Choose from charming restaurants, cozy tea houses, and classic British pubs. You’ll have lots of free time to see its lovely crescents, elegant terraces, and impressive buildings.

Walk to the famous Roman Baths, built nearly 2,000 years ago. These baths sit over Britain’s only natural hot spring. You can upgrade your tour to include entry. Alternatively, see the magnificent Bath Abbey. Stroll across the pretty Pulteney Bridge. It offers lovely views overlooking the River Avon. Or, step into Jane Austen’s world at the Jane Austen Centre. This is a permanent exhibit inside an original Georgian townhouse. You can also enjoy shopping. Perhaps you’ll simply sightsee.
