Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Whitsundays.
Time to meet up with your fellow travellers and crew on Long Island. Resort (D)
Day 2-3: Whitsundays at Leisure
Your own ‘fantasy island. Feeling energetic, why not go bushwalking or take to the water with a snorkel or a jet ski? Want to relax? Then unwind on the palm lined beach, have a massage, or sip cocktails as you watch another perfect sunset. Resort
Or… Sail the Whitsundays.
As an alternative to 2 days Island Resort stay, you can spend 2 days sailing the Whitsundays. Swim, snorkel, or laze your way around this tropical paradise, on board a Prosail flotilla yacht. Book in conjunction with your East Coast tour to guarantee a place onboard. NB: There is an additional charge for this option. Twin share supplement not applicable.
Day 4: Whitsundays to Cairns
All ashore. It’s north to Townsville to explore the scenic lookout of Castle Hill, overlooking Magnetic Island. This evening we’ll check into our Cairns hotel, situated in a lush tropical setting. Resort (B)
Day 5: Cairns at Leisure
Are you game? For the adventurous, a chance to do some white water rafting on the rapids of the Tully River. If rafting’s not your thing, time to relax and check out the delights of Cairns. Resort
Day 6: Cairns at Leisure
Reef residents! Again your choice … spend the day at leisure or take the opportunity to visit the famous Great Barrier Reef aboard a high-speed catamaran. Why not scuba dive amidst amazingly colourful tropical fish? Tonight we’ll check out more tropical wildlife at one of Cairns’ nightclubs! Resort (B)
Day 7: Cairns to Cape Tribulation.
This morning is spent with a visit to Rainforestation to watch traditional Aboriginal dancers. We then head off in our 4WD vehicle for a swim at Mosman Gorge before crossing the Daintree River. From here we drive up into a world heritage listed rainforest. Awesome! Resort (D)
Day 8: Bring your walking shoes!
Today we’ll explore the lush Daintree rainforest and Cape Tribulation National Park in our 4WDs. A must do is taking a dip in one of the refreshing swimming holes before heading back to the resort. Resort (B)
Day 9 : Cape Trib - Fitzroy Island
Today's adventure takes us down the Captain Cook Highway, with the rainforest on one side and Great Barrier Reef on the other... what a way to travel. Then it's all aboard to tropical Fitzroy Island where the rest of the day is yours to explore. Tonight will be our last night together... vitamin B is good for the depression.

Day 10: Fitzroy to Cairns
Today you have the chance to try some sea kayaking or just kick back and enjoy the islands. We’ll then jump aboard our boat as we transfer back to Cairns. Time to exchange addresses and stories as the adventure ends and the memories begin! (B)
