Saturday After a full cooked breakfast, we have some time to explore Porthmadog town. Meet the locals before ascending upon Snowdon itself - Britain's highest peak. Either hike up it or take a mountain train ride to enjoy the spectacular views on the summit. Then it's back to base for some great food followed by entertaining pubs and bars in Porthmadog itself. Sunday After a home cooked breakfast we depart up the Steam railway to the Sygon slate mine where you can enjoy a journey into History - learn all about the industry of Wales. before a chance to Pan for Gold! Then it's time to visit Porthmerion - a replica Italian village-  on an amazing backdrop of mountains and the coast all before making our way back to London for around 9pm. Whats Included? Friendly local guides, touring in our funky mini-coach with TV/Video/cd player! Excellent value! Whats extra? The kitty price (£38 GBP) includes all of your hostel accommodation / breakfasts and evening meals / entrance fee's. Kitty must be paid in cash to your tour host on the day your tour departs. The only items not included are your spending money, lunches and optional activities e.g. horse riding, surfing (all at discounted prices). NB there are always free alternatives.
