Hello San Jose! Our road trip to Sarapiqui’s biodiverse splendour will begin this morning after meeting your fellow Costa Rican adventurers. We’ll stop here for our first taste of Costa Rican air and excitement for those who like being wet and wild. To end our first day of adventure? Imagine seeing Arenal, Costa Rica’s most impressive volcano, for the first time. This near-perfect volcano is known for its hot springs and medicinal powers. After an eventful first day, dinner tonight will be a group dinner in town. Our overnight accommodations are in beautiful gardens under the Arenal Volcano. Swim in the pool or observe iguanas in the trees. This is life.

Descent down a rainforest canyon will be the perfect morning wake-up. Not interested? How about visiting the hot springs this afternoon to take advantage of the region’s geothermal properties? Whether you choose adventure, wellness, or both, the day will be memorable.

We’ll experience Costa Rican beach life after Arenal’s towering presence. For good reason, Playa Tamarindo is Costa Rica’s top surf and party spot. This northern coastal resort has great waves, golden sands, lounge bars, and restaurants. We’ll be staying by the beach, so morning swims are planned.

It won’t take long to get used to Playa Tamarindo’s bohemian vibe. Spend the day snorkelling or surfing. This afternoon, try our catamaran sail Add-On to see this maritime beauty in a new way.

We pack up our towels and head to the mountains, leaving the beach behind. Our arrival to Monteverde’s foggy trees will take your breath away as we breathe clean air. This green wildlife hotspot has butterfly gardens, coffee plantations, various monkey species, and dedicated residents who work to balance nature and tourism. Coffee, everyone’s favourite caffeinated friend, will also be covered. We’ll learn how Costa Rica’s most famous export is grown and how the berries are turned into energising coffee beans.

Adventures continue. There’s lots to select from. First choice? A thrilling zipline ride at Selvatura Park in Costa Rica. (Imagine flying through the misty treetops and seeing the forest below!). Want something calmer? Choose to cross hanging bridges in the lovely cloud forest. Wow.

It’s been emotional in Monteverde, but we have beach hangs ahead. First, we’ll plant trees with SINAC to conserve, preserve, and rejuvenate local forests. You can name your tree! Beachside Jaco is famous for surfing, nightlife, and its proximity to Costa Rica’s national parks. This afternoon, explore the town or rest by the pool or bar, contemplating Costa Rican life and soaking up these last days in paradise.

Rise, shine! The stunning Manuel Antonio National Park awaits us this morning. Manuel Antonio has stunning coral reefs, old jungle, and clean beaches. Grab your cameras and look for animals as we explore this biodiversity hotspot. We’ll relax by the pool at our hotel tonight after a day of exploring.

After kayaking in Jaco, we’ll return to San Jose to end our tour. Wow, what an adventure. Exchange info, we’ll meet on the road soon.
