Day 1 - Winchester, Stonehenge & Exeter
Morning – Journey to Winchester
Board the mini-coach at 9:15am in London and head west through Wessex, one of England’s ancient kingdoms. Rolling countryside leads you to Winchester, the former Anglo-Saxon capital. This historic city is home to Alfred the Great and a magnificent cathedral.

Step back in time at Winchester Cathedral, admire the intricate stone vaults, and explore the Norman Great Hall, home to the legendary King Arthur’s Round Table. Wander cobbled streets lined with timber-framed houses and feel the echoes of centuries past.
Afternoon – Stonehenge & Journey to Exeter
After lunch, travel to Stonehenge, one of the world’s most famous prehistoric sites. Explore the stone circle and visitor centre to learn about its mysterious origins. Later, continue to Exeter, gateway to Dartmoor, where golden beaches, rolling countryside, and rugged tors await.

Day 2 - Dartmoor National Park
Morning – Journey to Dartmoor
Leave Exeter for Dartmoor National Park. Rolling moors, rocky tors, and misty landscapes set the scene for a day of discovery. Keep an eye out for native ponies grazing in the wild.
Mid-Morning – Widecombe-in-the-Moor
Visit the picturesque village of Widecombe-in-the-Moor. Stroll its charming streets, admire the historic St Pancras Church, and soak in the peaceful atmosphere.
Afternoon – Clapper Bridge & Tavistock
Walk across the ancient Clapper Bridge and continue to Tavistock for lunch. Taste the famous Devon cream tea, explore the Georgian streets, and visit Tavistock Abbey ruins before returning to Exeter.

Afternoon – Tintagel Castle & Port Isaac
Explore the cliffside ruins of Tintagel Castle, linked to King Arthur’s legend. Walk the iconic bridge and take in breathtaking coastal views. Later, visit Port Isaac, a charming village famous as the setting for Doc Martin. End the day in Falmouth for a two-night stay.
