London to Paris.
A warm welcome from your Contiki
Crew as we head for the White Cliffs
of Dover and the Channel crossing
to Calais, France. Past World War
I battlefields to the splendour
of Paris. What better way to begin
than with an evening tour of the

Day 2
- Paris Sightseeing.
On our included sightseeing tour
see the mighty Eiffel Tower, the
Louvre and the Arc de Triomphe.
Visit Nôtre Dame Cathedral,
stroll along the Champs Elysées.

- Paris to Beaujolais Wine Region,
Lyon.
See the Château at Fontainebleau.
Next the Beaujolais vineyards near
Lyon and Contiki's exclusive Château

Day 4
- Lyon to Antibes - French Riviera.
South today along the Autoroute
du Soleil to the Côte d'Azur.
En route visiting the city of the
Popes, Avignon seeing the Papal
Palace. Tonight we visit Monaco
to view the Royal Palace. Contiki

Day 5
- Riviera at Leisure.
It's your choice today - relax on
the beach, or take a trip into Nice
or Cannes to souvenir shop and explore
this "Queen of the Riviera". Contiki

Day 6
- Antibes to Florence.
First we visit a French Perfumery
before continuing to Pisa, home
of the famous Leaning Tower. This
evening an opportunity to enjoy
the most fabulous of Renaissance
cities, Florence. Contiki Village

Day 7
- Florence to Rome.
Today our local expert guide takes
us on a walking tour of Renaissance
Florence which includes the Duomo
and the Piazza Della Signoria. Shop
for gold and leather then drive
to the Eternal City of Rome. Tonight,
a walking tour of this ancient city
will include the Trevi Fountain,
Piazza Venezia, Pantheon and Piazza

Day 8
- Rome Sightseeing.
Today, why not discover the ancient
ruins of Rome with a local guide
and in your free time leisurely
discover the secrets of the Vatican
City and the Sistine Chapel. Contiki

Day 9
- Rome to Venice.
Now onto the magic of Venice. Travel
by motor boat to see St. Mark's
Square, Doges' Palace and the Bridge
of Sighs. Perhaps treat yourself
to a gondola ride. Contiki Village

Day 10
- Venice to Munich.
Travelling over the spectacular
Brenner Pass we drive through Austria
before arriving in the lively capital
of Bavaria. We visit the town centre
with its historic Glockenspiel before
tonight visiting a local beer hall.

Day 11
- Munich to Rhine Valley.
Today, we continue to the Rhine
Valley. See how beersteins are crafted
in St Goar before arriving at our
hotel. Hotel (B,D)
Day 12
- Rhine Valley to Amsterdam.
We cross the Dutch border to Amsterdam
for our last 2 nights in this vibrant
city. Visit a cheese farm, see how
clogs are made, cycle through the
Dutch countryside and explore the
fishing and cheese village of Edam.

Day 13
- Amsterdam at Leisure.
After a diamond exhibition, why
not explore Amsterdam on a canal
bike ride, perhaps visiting Anne

Day 14
- Amsterdam to London.
Travelling south through the Belgian
Countryside to Calais, we catch
the ferry back to Dover, reaching

The food
is often prepared especially for
you by the Contiki staff. You'll
occasionally help with serving and
washing up -- it's all part of the
experience! For breakfast, there's
cereal, muesli, yogurt, bread rolls
and fresh fruit as well as a hot
dish. At lunch you're free to do
your own thing. About half your
dinners are included in the cost
of your tour (see tour itinerary
for specific meal details) On other
nights we take you out to sample
