Day
1 - London to Paris.
A warm welcome from your Contiki Crew
as we head for the White Cliffs of Dover
and the Channel crossing to Calais, France.
Past World War I battlefields to the splendour
of Paris. What better way to begin than
with an evening tour of the city illuminations.

Day 2 - Paris
Sightseeing.
On our included sightseeing tour we visit
Nôtre Dame, view the Champs Elysées,
the Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre and the
Eiffel Tower. There's time to shop, stroll
along the Seine or just relax at a sidewalk
café. Tonight, why not experience
a famous Parisian cabaret. Contiki Village

Day 3 - Paris
to Beaujolais Wine Region, Lyon.
We travel south and stop at Fontainebleau
to see the magnificent château.
Then to the Beaujolais vineyards near
Lyon and two nights in Contiki's exclusive
Château de Cruix. Contiki Special

Day 4 - Beaujolais
Wine Region.
Drink in the atmosphere, enjoy our included
picnic lunch and explore the French countryside
&endash; the choice is yours. Contiki

Day 5 - Lyon
to Antibes - French Riviera.
South today on the Autoroute de Soleil
to the fabulous Côte d' Azur visiting
on route the city of the Popes, Avignon.
Tonight we visit Monaco to view the Royal
Palace. Take the opportunity to try your
luck at one of the casinos at Monte Carlo.

Day 6 - Riviera
at Leisure.
It's your choice today &endash; perhaps
mix with the rich and famous on the beach
at Cannes or take a trip into Nice to
shop for souvenirs and explore this "Queen

Day 7 - Antibes
to Florence.
First we visit a French Perfumery before
continuing to Pisa home of the famous
Leaning Tower, before arriving in the
most spectacular of Renaissance cities,

Day 8 - Florence
Sightseeing.
Begin with our included walking tour to
see the Piazza della Signoria, the Duomo
and Santa Croce. Shop for leather, gold
and silver before taking the opportunity
to visit one of the many museums or galleries.
This evening, an opportunity to enjoy
the colourful Florentine nightlife. Contiki

Day 9 - Florence
to Rome.
All roads lead to Rome and our Contiki
Village. This afternoon why not discover
the ancient ruins of Rome with a local
guide. Later, a walking tour of this ancient
city will include the Trevi Fountain,
Piazza Venezia, Pantheon and Piazza Navona.

Day 10 - Rome
Sightseeing.
Today, take your chance to explore Rome.
Leisurely discover the secrets of the
Vatican City and the Sistine Chapel or
simply wander the streets and soak up
the atmosphere. Perhaps a bar-becue tonight
and a party in the local disco. Contiki

Day 11 - Rome
to Corfu.
A chance to take a guided tour of the
ancient Roman city of Pompeii as we head
across Italy to Brindisi and our overnight

Day 12-15 -
Corfu at Leisure.
Four sun-filled days on the beautiful
Greek island of Corfu staying at Contiki's
Frini Beach Stopover. Windsurf, waterski,
paraglide, swim or just soak up the sun.
Get off the beaten track in an open-top
4-wheel drive jeep or cruise along the
coast in a caique. At night, enjoy the
local cuisine and try your hand (or feet)

Day 16 - Corfu
to Italy - Mini Cruise.
A full day and night cruise, across the
Adriatic back to Italy. Time to enjoy

Day 17 - Arrival
Venice.
Our spectacular morning arrival into the
Port of Venice is one of Europe's most
impressive sights. After docking, we head
to St. Mark's Square, the Doges' Palace
and Bridge of Sighs. See glass and lace
making demonstrations, and why not treat
yourself to a gondola ride? Contiki Village

Day 18 - Venice
at Leisure.
Our complimentary motor boat takes you
back into Venice for you to explore this
unique island city at your leisure. Contiki

Day 19 - Venice
to Vienna.
An enchanting drive as we waltz into the
home of Strauss to see the splendours
of the once mighty Austrian Empire. Hotel

Day 20 - Vienna
Sightseeing.
A whole day to take it all in. Our sightseeing
tour shows you the fabulous Palace of
the Hapsburg's, the State Opera House
and fashionable Kartnerstrasse with a
chance to try authentic apple strudel

Day 21 - Vienna
to Munich.
On to lively Munich where we experience
Bavarian hospitality as we visit a favourite
beer hall. Hotel (B)
Day 22- Munich
to Hopfgarten - Austrian Tyrol.
Our orientation tour includes the Glockenspiel
and Marienplatz. Perhaps the pportunity
to go white-water rafting (subject to
weather conditions) before a special welcome
awaits at Contiki's own Gasthof. Contiki

Day 23 - Austrian
Tyrol at Leisure.
The picture-postcard village of Hopfgarten
is an excellent base to make the most
of the beautiful countryside and experience
a vast range of outdoor activities: walking,
cycling, parapenting or perhaps trout

Day 24 - Hopfgarten
to Lauterbrunnen - Swiss Alps.
First to Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein.
Next an orientation tour of Lucerne before
our stop in the Swiss Alps. Contiki Special

Day 25 - Swiss
Alps at Leisure.
A spectacular day where you can choose
to hike the many trails or enjoy a trip
up the snow-covered Jungfrau mountain
on a cog railway that passes through the

Day 26 - Lauterbrunnen
to Rhine Valley.
Heading north we leave Switzerland
and enter Germany en route to Heidelberg
for an orientation tour of this university
city on the banks of the Neckar River.
Then onto the picturesque town of St.
Goar in the Rhine Valley before reaching

Day 27 - Rhine
Valley to Amsterdam.
We cross the Dutch border making our way
to Amsterdam. Visit a cheese farm and
see how clogs are made. Cycle through
the countryside and explore the fishing
village of Edam. Contiki's centrally located
hotel is home for our last two nights.

Day 28 - Amsterdam
at Leisure.
After a diamond exhibition, why not take
a canal bike ride to explore Amsterdam
further, perhaps visiting Anne Frank's
house. It's a day to remember and tonight,
we celebrate our last evening together.

Day 29 - Amsterdam
to London.
South through the Dutch and Belgian Countryside
into France for our cross channel ferry
arriving London early evening. (B)

is often prepared especially
for you by the Contiki staff.
You'll occasionally help with
serving and washing up -- it's
all part of the experience! For
breakfast, there's cereal, muesli,
yogurt, bread rolls and fresh
fruit as well as a hot dish.
At lunch you're free to do your
own thing. About half your dinners
are included in the cost of your
tour (see tour itinerary for
specific meal details) On other
nights we take you out to sample
the local restaurants. Veggie
