North Wales and Snowdon - Bank Holiday Weekend - £85 + £75.50 Kitty
Day One - Friday
Travel to North Wales and check into our hostel accommodation!

Day Two - Saturday
A chance to explore Llandudno before we head off and enjoy that fresh air in the stunning Snowdonia National Park (the second largest National Park in Great Britain). Visit a slate mining museum then an opportunity to experience the views from the summit of Mt Snowdon (highest peak in England and Wales) with an optional challenging climb or a leisurely ascent by cog railway. We return home to an organised BBQ
Day Three - Sunday
A day of castles and culture. Soak up some Welsh hospitality in Conwy and Rampage and 13th C Castle before heading to Betws-y-Coed. Visit the amazing artistic hang out and marvel at the waterfalls and stunning scenery that has attracted artists for centuries. A quick stop at Dolwyddelan Castle then hop on a steam railway at Blaenau Ffestiniog and go in search of Gellerts grave. If we have time, a quick stop in Caernarfon before heading back to Llandudno for our evening meal.
Day Four - Monday
A visit to Wales would not be complete without a stop at Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch (longest place name in the world) to get your passport stamped. A drive by little Australia (explanation on tour given!) and a visit to Portmeirion: a taste of Italy in the heart of Wales (location of the cult film ‘The Prisoner’), finally a chance to wet your feet as we cruise the sandy beaches of Porthmadog before heading home to London.
Be as active or as chilled as you like!
