Hogmanay in Edinburgh

Tour Itinerary : Royal British Hotel

Day 1 Sunday, 30th December 2007
Depart From London
Coach passengers depart Paddington Station (Eastbourne Terrace) at 8.30am (8.00am check in). Day drive up to Scotland. With plenty of refreshments on board the party is sure to begin not long after leaving London. Arrive Edinburgh early evening and check straight into your central city hotels.
Now the real party begins! After checking into your hotel, meet in the bar before heading to Edinburgh's top night venue: the Espionage, for our exclusive Pre-Hogmanay party. The Espionage is huge and a great venue to warm up for the big one. Set over 5 levels, the entire venue is reserved for our passengers until later in the evening. No worries about early closing - we are in Scotland now - and you can party at the Espionage right through to 5am!!!

Day 2 Monday, 31st December 2007
New Years Eve: the big BIG one!!!
The BIG one! Our marathon party day starts early - no time for headaches from last night ... and ends a year later! Virtually straight after breakfast it is time to bring the millennium in "Down Under time" at our famous special Kiwi/Oz New Year celebrations. All our passengers get together for our party, held at one of Edinburgh's best venues - Jongleurs, in the central Omni centre. We begin by celebrating the Kiwi New Year at 11:00am (midnight back in NZ) and at 1:00pm it’s the Aussies turn to crack the bubbly. We then have the afternoon to party on while celebrating the various New Years across the Aussie continent. We finish with the WA New Year before it is time to head out and concentrate on the Scottish New Year. At dusk we join the locals in town and build up for the big one. Princes St will have been blocked off for the biggest street party in Europe - join the tens of thousands bringing in the Scottish New Year with fireworks over the old castle - an amazing sight and atmosphere.
Your street pass entry is included in the tour price.

Day 3 Tuesday, January 1st 2008
Countryside Excursion and New Years Day Party
We start the day with a late breakfast before offering you the opportunity to clear your heads a little with an excursion to the Scottish country side through "Braveheart Country" to Stirling Castle via the famous Forth Bridge. Note entry to the castle is optional and the admission fee is not included.
We will have you back in Edinburgh in plenty of time to start 2008 in just the same fashion as we finished 2007 – with another great party. Our exclusive New Years Day bash is being held in Edinburgh’s best party pub – Frankenstein’s. Another fantastic venue. The music, drinks and good times will flow from early evening until again the wee hours of the morning – if you can last that long!!

Day 4 Wednesday, January 2, 2008
Back To London
After another (very) slow breakfast we depart Edinburgh at 11:00am for the drive south to London. We aim to have you back in Paddington Station at approximately 8:00pm (depending on traffic) ... will you make it to work on Thursday????
