Day 1 - London
to Paris.
Meet your Contiki Crew as we head for
the White Cliffs of Dover and our cross-Channel
ferry to France. A perfect introduction
to Paris as we take an evening tour to
view the splendid illuminations. Contiki

Day 2-3 - Paris
sightseeing.
Our included sightseeing tour takes in
the many sights and sounds. Gaze at the
Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and the Arc de
Triomphe. Visit Nôtre Dame, stroll
along the Champs Elysées. A trip
out to the Palace of Versailles is included
or in your own time visit Euro Disney.
At night, a chance to see a Parisian cabaret.

Day 4 - Paris
to Beaujolais Wine Region, Lyon.
'Au revoir' Paris as we head south to
the Beaujolais vineyards near Lyon. We
spend the next two nights at Contiki's
exclusive Château de Cruix. Contiki

Day 5 - Beaujolais
Wine Region.
Drink in the atmosphere, enjoy our included
picnic lunch and explore the French countryside
&endash; the choice is yours. Contiki

Day 6 - Lyon
to Barcelona.
Continuing south we stop at the aqueduct
of Pont du Gard then head to the Spanish
border and Barcelona. Contiki Village

Day 7 - Barcelona
Sightseeing.
Our tour of the city sights takes in Gaudi's
Art Nouveau Cathedral, and the 1992 Olympic
Games complex. Stroll along the Ramblas,
shop for Lladró porcelain and Majorica
pearls, eat tapas and check-out a Flamenco

Day 8 - Barcelona
to Antibes - French Riviera.
Back into France via the Camargue and
Aigues Mortes. A chance to explore the
area before continuing to Antibes and

Day 9 - Riviera
at Leisure.
It's your choice today &endash; perhaps
mix with the rich and famous on the beach
at Cannes or take a trip into Nice for
some souvenir shopping and explore this
"Queen of the Riviera". At night, we go
to Monte Carlo to see the Royal Palace

Day 10 - Antibes
to Florence.
We first visit a French perfumery
before entering Italy. We see the Leaning
Tower of Pisa before we reach this most
spectacular of Renaissance cities, Florence.

Day 11 - Florence
Sightseeing.
Begin with a walking tour to see the Piazza
della Signoria, the Duomo and Santa Croce.
Shop for leather and take in fabulous
views from Piazzale Michelangelo. This
evening, an opportunity to enjoy the colourful

Day 12 - Florence
to Rome.
All roads lead to Rome and our Contiki
Village. This afternoon why not discover
the ancient ruins of Rome with a local
guide. Later, a walking tour of this ancient
city will include the Trevi Fountain,
Piazza Venezia, Pantheon and Piazza Navona.

Day 13 - Rome
Sightseeing.
Today, take your chance to explore
Rome. Leisurely discover the secrets of
the Vatican City and the Sistine Chapel
or simply wander the streets and soak
up the atmosphere. Perhaps a barbecue
tonight and a party in the local disco.

Day 14 - Rome
to Corfu.
A chance to take a guided tour of the
ancient Roman city of Pompeii as we head
across Italy to Brindisi and our overnight

Day 15-17 -
Corfu at Leisure.
Three sun-filled days on the beautiful
Greek island of Corfu staying at Contiki's
Frini Beach Stopover. Whether you're looking
for energetic watersports or just want
to enjoy the beach, Corfu caters for all
tastes. Time to explore on a caique cruise
or try parasailing. At night, there's
Greek dancing, the chance to sample local
specialities and make the most of the
nightlife in nearby Corfu town. Contiki

Day 18 - Corfu
to Athens.
Today, we travel through the Pelo-ponnese
and across the Corinth Canal to Athens.

Day 19 - Athens
to Mykonos.
Ferry across to Mykonos and look forward
to a terrific 3-day break on one of the
most picturesque Greek islands. Pensions/Hotels

Day 20-21 -
Mykonos at Leisure.
White-washed houses, cobbled streets,
windmills, exquisite boutiques, sun-soaked
beaches (some are even perfect for an
all-over tan), Mykonos has got the lot!
At night choose from typical tavernas
to sophisticated restaurants, from bars
playing classical music to hard rock,
from Greek dancing to outrageous floor
shows &endash; there's no place like Mykonos!

Day 22 - Mykonos
to Athens.
We catch the midday ferry back to Athens.
Perhaps check-out the great nightlife

Day 23-24 -
Athens to Italy - Mini Cruise.
Take a guided tour of the Acropolis and
Parthenon and see the Temple of Zeus.
Then time for some last minute shopping
before we head to Patras to board our
cruise boat for the 2 nights and full
day across the Adriatic to Italy. Adriatic

Day 25 - Arrival
Venice.
Our spectacular morning arrival into the
Port of Venice is one of Europe's most
impressive sights. After docking we head
for St. Mark's Square, the Doges' Palace
and Bridge of Sighs. See glass and lace
making demonstrations and why not treat
yourself to a gondola ride? Contiki Village

Day 26 - Venice
Sightseeing.
Our complimentary motor boat takes you
back into Venice for you to explore this
unique island city at your leisure. Contiki

Day 27 - Venice
to Vienna.
A spectacular drive before we waltz into
Vienna, the home of Strauss. Hotel (B)
Day 28 - Vienna
Sightseeing.
A whole day to take it all in. Our sightseeing
tour shows you the fabulous Palace of
the Hapsburg's, the State Opera House
and fashionable Kartnerstrasse with a
chance to try authentic apple strudel

Day 29 - Vienna
to Munich.
On to lively Munich where we experience
Bavarian hospitality as we visit a favourite

Day 30 - Munich
to Hopfgarten - Austrian Tyrol.
First an orientation tour of Munich including
the Glockenspiel and Marienplatz. Perhaps,
an opportunity to go white water rafting
after lunch then head for Contiki's own
Gasthof in the beautiful Austrian Tyrol.

Tyrol at Leisure.
Hopfgarten is an excellent base to enjoy
outdoor activities like walking, cycling

Day 32 - Hopfgarten
to Lauterbrunnen - Swiss Alps.
First to Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein.
Next an orientation tour of Lucerne and
time to shop. Tonight stay at the base
of the Jungfrau in the beautiful Swiss

Day 33 - Swiss
Alps at Leisure.
Choose to hike the many trails or enjoy
a trip up the snow-covered Jungfrau mountain
on a cog railway that passes through the

Day 34 - Lauterbrunnen
to Rhine Valley .
Heading north we enter Germany en
route to Heidelberg for an orientation
tour. Then onto the picturesque town of
St Goar in the Rhine Valley before reaching

Day 35 - Rhine
Valley to Amsterdam.
We cross the Dutch border for Amsterdam.
Visit a cheese farm and see how clogs
are made on our afternoon sightseeing
tour. Cycle through the countryside and
explore the fishing village of Edam. Contiki's
centrally located hotel is our home for

Day 36 - Amsterdam
at Leisure.
After a diamond exhibition, why not take
a canal bike ride to explore Amsterdam
further, perhaps visiting Anne Frank's

to London.
South through the Dutch and Belgian
Countryside into France for our cross
channel ferry arriving London early evening.

The food
is often prepared especially
for you by the Contiki staff.
You'll occasionally help with
serving and washing up -- it's
all part of the experience! For
breakfast, there's cereal, muesli,
yogurt, bread rolls and fresh
fruit as well as a hot dish.
At lunch you're free to do your
own thing. About half your dinners
are included in the cost of your
tour (see tour itinerary for
specific meal details) On other
nights we take you out to sample
the local restaurants. Veggie
