Day
1 - London to Paris.
A friendly welcome from your crew on our
way to the White Cliffs of Dover. Cross
the Channel to France then past World
War I battlefields to Paris. Tonight an
evening tour of the illuminations. (D)
Day 2 - Paris
Sightseeing.
This morning we visit the Nôtre
Dame Cathedral on our city tour. See the
Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe and the
Louvre. There's time to shop on the Champs
Elysées, stroll by the Seine or
watch the world go by at a side-walk café.
Why not join us tonight for an evening
meal and afterwards a famous Parisian
cabaret? (B)
Day 3 - Paris
to Lyon. South from Paris,
we pass through beautiful countryside
and the famous vineyards of the Burgundy
Region. We visit Contiki's own Château
de Cruix to taste some of the local wine
before travelling on to Lyon. (B)
Day 4 - Lyon
to Nice - French Riviera.
Visit the city of Popes, Avignon as we
head for the sun and sand of the Côte
d'Azur. Tonight we visit magnificent Monaco
to see the Royal Palace and a Monte Carlo
Casino. (B)
Day 5 - Nice
Sightseeing at Leisure.
Rub shoulders with the jet-set on the
promenade at Nice. A chance to relax,
swim or shop for French fashion &endash;
the choice is yours! (B,D)
Day 6 - Nice
to Florence.
First we visit a French perfumery
before continuing to Pisa, home of the
famous Leaning Tower. Then to our hotel
in Renaissance Florence before exploring
the Florentine nightlife. (B)
Day 7 - Florence
to Rome.
This morning our local guide takes us
on a walking tour to see the Duomo, Giotto's
Belltower, Basilica of Santa Croce and
Piazza della Signoria. Time to shop for
silver and gold and see a demonstration
of Florentine leathercraft, before we
continue to the fabled city of Rome. Tonight
a walking tour of this ancient city includes
Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain the
Pantheon and Piazza Venezia. (B)
Day 8 - Rome
Sightseeing.
Today why not discover the ancient ruins
of Rome with a local guide and in your
free time leisurely discover the secrets
of the Vatican City and the Sistene Chapel.

Day 9 - Rome
to Venice.
Our route takes us across the Appennine
Mountains for two nights at our hotel
near fairytale Venice. (B,D)
Day 10 - Venice
Sightseeing.
Our complimentary motor boat takes us
to see St Mark's Square, the Bridge of
Sighs and the Doges' Palace. See demonstrations
of glass blowing and lace making and wander
the fascinating side streets. A chance
to treat yourself to a gondola ride. (B)
Day 11 - Venice
to Vienna.
From the towering mountains we drive through
gently rolling countryside past picturesque
villages for two nights at our special
resort in Vienna. Take a dip in the pool,
work out at the gym or just relax at the

Day 12 - Vienna
Sightseeing.
A city tour and then time to visit St
Stephen's Cathedral, the State Opera House
and maybe the Spanish Riding School. Enjoy
a drive along the famous Ring Road, perhaps
see the Palace of the Hapsburg's, take
time to shop, wander at leisure and try
authentic apple strudel. Resort Hotel

Day 13 - Vienna
to Munich.
From Austria, our route today takes us
to Bavarian Munich. Tonight why not join
the locals in a typical beer hall? (B)
Day 14 -Munich
to Hopfgarten; Austrian Tyrol.
Our orientation tour takes in the Marienplatz,
with its famous Glockenspiel. Then through
the Bavarian Alps to Austria and the beautiful
Tyrol region where you have the opportunity
to try white water rafting (conditions
permitting). A special Contiki welcome
at the typical Tyrolean village of Hopfgarten.

Day 15 - Austrian
Tyrol at Leisure.
Be as active or inactive as you like.
Take the chairlift (conditions permitting)
for fabulous views, hike through the beautiful
countryside with its cuckoo-clock houses,
nestled beneath magnificent mountains.
Perhaps go fishing or bike through the
mountain valleys.(B,D)
Day 16 - Hopfgarten
to Mt. Pilatus; Lucerne.
We leave Austria and pause at Vaduz, capital
of Liechtenstein, on our way to Switzerland
and lakeside Lucerne. A very special treat
as we take the cable car or cog railway
for breath taking views from our resort
on top of Mt Pilatus, the highest hotel

Day 17 - Lucerne
Sightseeing.
We take the cable car down for a day exploring
Lucerne. Enjoy an orientation tour, perhaps
visit the Lion Monument, cross the Chapel
Bridge, wander through the narrow cobbled
streets shopping for watches and Swiss

Day 18 - Lucerne
to the Rhine Valley.
Northward to beautiful St Goar by the
River Rhine. We take a Rhine cruise passing
spectacular scenery including the famous
Lorelei Rock. (B,D)
Day 19 - Rhine
Valley to Amsterdam.
From the scenic Rhine Valley, we travel
past Cologne and cross the border into
Holland. Visit the cheese making village
of Edam, a cheese farm, and see clogs
being made. Past canals and windmills
we arrive in Amsterdam for our final two
nights. (B,D)
Day 20 - Amsterdam
Sightseeing.
Shop for diamonds and take a bicycle tour
of the Dutch countryside. Tonight why
not get together for a farewell meal to
round off a perfect tour? (B)
Day 21 - Amsterdam
to London.
Travelling south through the Dutch and
Belgian countryside to France, we catch
the ferry from Calais to Dover, reaching
London early evening. (B)
