tour of London, view
Buckingham Palace,
the Tower of London
and Westminster
Abbey. From here we
go to the historic
town of Windsor and a
chance to visit the
famous castle. We
cross the Salisbury
Plains to the
prehistoric monument
at Stonehenge and
then to Bath for an
afternoon city tour
and chance to visit
the Roman Baths.
Tonight enjoy dinner
at our nearby hotel
in Limpley Stoke.

Coventry.
Today we travel to
Stratford-upon-Avon
home of Shakespeare
for a tour of the
Elizabethan town. We
see Anne Hathaway's
cottage before
leaving for Warwick
Castle where there's
a chance explore and
perhaps duel with the
Red Knight! This
evening why not go
back in time and
revel at a romping
'Medieval Banquet'?

Coventry
to York.
We head north through
the Midlands to the
historic city of
York. See Viking,
Roman and medieval
history in this
famous walled city.
An included walking
tour by day and a
chance to go ghost
hunting by night. Our
home for the night is
in nearby South

to
Edinburgh.
Today we take a trip
to the foot of the
Pennine Mountains to
view Hadrian's Wall.
North into Bonnie
Scotland for a scenic
drive to the vibrant
city of Edinburgh.
Our city tour
introduces you to
this cultural
capital: see the
Castle and Holyrood
Palace. After dinner,
explore the lively
nightlife. (B)

at
Leisure. A
free day to explore
the city. Why not
walk the Royal Mile
and shop for tartan
and shortbread along
Princes' Street?
Tonight an
opportunity to try
haggis and enjoy some
Highland dancing at a
local Scottish

Highlands.
Crossing the Forth
Bridge we head for
the Dee Valley in the
Grampion Mountains,
close to Balmoral
Castle. Enjoy the
spectacular drive
along the Whisky
Trail to the home of
'Nessie' at Loch
Ness. Spend tonight
in the beautiful

Scottish
Highlands to
Oban. This
morning we cross the
Kyle of Lochalsh to
the Isle of Skye, the
land of Bonnie Prince
Charlie. An
opportunity to visit
the Aros Centre which
portrays the Isles'
history before we
leave Skye to visit
Eilean Donan Castle,
location for the cult
film Highlander!
Continuing south in
the shadow of Ben
Nevis, Britain's
highest mountain, we
arrive at Oban.

Oban,
Excursion to Isles of
Mull and
Iona. A
day to explore the
magical islands of
Mull and Iona. We
take a short ferry
ride across to Mull
with its stunning
scenery and historic
forts and castles.
See Duart Castle,
ancient seat of the
clan MacLean. We
drive east to take a
sea hop across to the
Sacred Isle Iona,
where we visit the
Abbey and Reillig
Oran, burial place to
48 Scottish Kings.
Later, we head back
to Oban and your
chance to relax in
this harbour-side
village. (B)
Oban
to Lake Windermere
&endash; The Lake
District.
This morning we head
south past Loch
Lomond to Gretna
Green. We leave
Scotland behind as we
drive through the
beautiful Lake
District. Our hotel
tonight is near the
edge of Lake
Windermere. (B,D)
Lake
District at
Leisure.
If you're feeling
active try our

perhaps just stroll
around the beautiful
town of Windermere
and take in the
lakeside scenery.

the local

Wales. Our
first stop is at the
Roman town of
Chester. Admire the
unique Tudor
architecture before
crossing into Wales
we take a scenic
drive through the
Cambrain Mountains
and south to our
overnight stop at

to London.

explore your Welsh
Town, before our
journey east to
England and London.
